Hilton West Palm Beach celebrated its official grand opening, with more than 400 people at a dazzling, South Beach-style party on its expansive pool deck that was converted into an outdoor oasis. The event wowed the crowd and effectively reset the standards for the convention center hotel experience in South Florida. The evening scene was illuminated by strings of Tivoli lights, floating fires in the pool, breathtaking ice sculptures that cooled exquisite food and beverage displays, all wrapped in the music of local DJ and hotel sound curator Adam Lipson. Guests enjoyed close to a dozen food stations including seafood, BBQ from a Grillworks wood-fired grill, salads in mason jars hung artistically on a chain link fence, mouth-watering desserts and craft beers were served on tap from a frozen ice sculpture.
The highly anticipated Hilton West Palm Beach opened its doors today to welcome local patrons and visitors alike. Related Companies, Palm Beach County, the City of West Palm Beach and Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) collaborated to conceptualize and deliver an innovative, contemporary and forward-thinking hotel experience.
The new Hilton West Palm Beach, scheduled to open on January 27, 2016, welcomes Executive Chef Miguel Santiago. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Santiago brings his culinary prowess to guests looking for farm-to-table cuisine infused with global flavors. The award-winning chef, who has served meals for a multitude of presidents, will work alongside local Signature Chef Matthew Byrne.
The highly anticipated Hilton West Palm Beach today announced Chef Matthew Byrne as signature chef. Known locally for Kitchen, the contemporary American Brasserie located on Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, Chef Byrne will curate all the signature food and beverage offerings on the property, scheduled to open in early 2016. Guests can enjoy his creative and fresh approach to cuisine at Manor, the three-meal signature restaurant, as well as in the hotel lobby, and at the poolside bar and marketplace. His culinary style will also be infused throughout catering menus for meetings, events and room service as well.
