BIRMINGHAM, England - Hilton Birmingham Metropole is excited to announce that this year's European Elvis Championships will be held at the hotel, welcoming Elvis tribute artist fans to take advantage of its excellent event facilities.

The hotel's General Manager, Patrick Stapleton, said, "With the outstanding success the event had last year we are anticipating an even greater turnout and exceptional entertainment". Taking place from 4th-6th January 2013, this convention style contest is sure to be a weekend of non-stop amusement. The ongoing contest will include performances by highly acclaimed Elvis tribute artists including European Masters Champion, Pete Storm and fan favourite, George Elias. With performances commencing in the afternoon and after show parties running late into the night with performances from bands such as The Graceland Band, a weekend of great entertainment is guaranteed for all.

Hilton Birmingham Metropole will be offering a discount on accommodation for guests by using code GELVS when booking.
