Hilton Prague Hotel Presents Mexican Food Festival In Celebration Of Mexico’s Independence Bi-Centennial

PRAGUE, Czech Republic -  Hilton Prague Hotel has announced it will host a Mexican Food Festival from Sept. 9-19 in cooperation with the Mexican Embassy in the Czech Republic. H.E. José Luis Bernal, ambassador of Mexico in the Czech Republic, will officially inaugurate the festival.

Carlos Ozuna Recinos, sous chef at Hilton Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, will be flown to the Czech Republic by Aeromexico, one of Mexico’s most recognized airlines, especially for this occasion. He will be Hilton Prague Hotel's guest chef during this event and will prepare authentic Mexican cuisine. During the festival, guests will have an opportunity to taste traditional Mexican dishes and savour typical Mexican flavours.

Lunch and dinner buffets will be served at Hilton Prague Hotel’s Café Bistro. The restaurant will be decorated with Mexican handicrafts, pieces of art and photographs from a private collection selected to enhance the overall experience. Visitors also will be able to enjoy Herradura Tequila and El Jimador Tequila and taste tequila-based dishes, such as sea food cocktail with essence of tequila and coriander seeds; beef medallions in tequila and chile chipotle sauce; and tequila crème brulèe.

The festival is organized in cooperation with the following partners: Aeromexico, Nuevo Progresso, Brown-Forman and Tereza Vágnerová.

The Mexican Food Festival will be held from Sept. 9-19 at the Café Bistro restaurant. Lunch will be served from noon to 3 p.m. and dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Price per person is 990 CZK and includes an unlimited selection from the buffet.
