Hilton Mystic’s Brittney Davis named 2017 “Manager of the Year” by The Connecticut Lodging Association

MYSTIC, Conn. - The Connecticut Lodging Association (CLA) held their 113th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on September 28 at Hilton Mystic, during which the hotel’s sales manager, Brittney Davis was named the 2017 “Manager of the Year.”

The CLA's "Stars of the Industry" awards were created to recognize outstanding achievements in Connecticut's lodging community.

Nominated by members of the CLA, the winners on the state level automatically compete at the national level in the American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AH&LA) Stars of the Industry Awards in spring 2018.

“Since 2013, when Brittney first broke into hospitality as a guest service agent at Hilton Mystic, she has continually defined outstanding customer service by anticipating customer needs with a pleasant, caring attitude and demeanor,” said Terri Almond, general manager, Hilton Mystic.

Davis is a member of Young Professionals within the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT, and uses that opportunity to meet new people, generate business leads and be active in her community.  She continues to learn and absorb as much information as possible.

She helped Hilton Mystic transition into a new sales and catering program in April 2017. She learned the system in advance and trained the rest of the team on-property and at its sister properties in New England.
