TAMPA, Fla. and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide, today announced its second property in Tampa, Fla., with the reflagging of Hyatt Regency Tampa as Hotel Tampa, an affiliate of Hilton. Prior to being renamed Hilton Tampa Downtown in 2013, the hotel will undergo extensive renovations to the guest rooms, lobby, common areas, dining and restaurant amenities, ballroom and meeting spaces, fitness center and administrative offices. Hotel Tampa joins Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore, Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park, Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront and Hilton Clearwater Beach as the fifth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the Tampa Bay Area.

The hotel features 521 guest rooms and guests will enjoy an outdoor pool, fitness center, Avanzare Lobby Bar and Restaurant and Starbucks Coffee onsite. Business travelers will find 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and a modern business center, as well as enjoy the convenience of being within minutes of the convention center.

Hotel Tampa offers a prime location in the center of the downtown entertainment and dining scene.
