Sunday Times Recognizes Hilton As Region’s Top Business-To-Business Hotel Brand

JOHANNESBURG and MCLEAN, Va. -  Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide, has been awarded the coveted title of best business-to-business hotel brand at the Sunday Times Top Brand Awards held recently at a ceremony in Johannesburg, South Africa.  Hilton operates two hotels in South Africa, with additional six properties across the continent.

The annual Sunday Times Top Brand Awards, in partnership with TNS Research Surveys, recognises South Africa's most popular brands in both metro and non-metro areas of the country. The research is conducted in two categories, consumer and business-to-business. For the consumer study, researchers spoke to 3,500 adults either by phone or face-to-face about their favourite brands and 400 business leaders were interviewed about their specific business requirements and experiences for the business-to-business category. 

The Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand portfolio in South Africa includes Hilton Sandton and Hilton Durban. The brand has locations in more countries than any other full service hotel brand, with more than 530 hotels and resorts in 76 countries.  Africa continues to be an important growth region for the Hilton brand and Hilton Worldwide. The company recently established a development office in Cape Town.
