HONOLULU - Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is serving up a room package that will give beach volleyball enthusiasts an opportunity to watch, meet and mingle with some of the world's top athletes. The Hilton HHonorsTM Beach Volleyball Package is being offered in conjunction with the upcoming Hilton HHonors Beach Volleyball Challenge presented by the Citi® Hilton HHonors Reserve Card, scheduled for November 15-17, 2013, on Waikiki Beach, Hawaii.

The room package, available for stays of five nights or more, will provide an up close and personal experience for beach volleyball fans and includes:

"We're thrilled to welcome beach volleyball Olympians once again to our resort for the Hilton HHonors Beach Volleyball Challenge," said Tracy Walker, general manager, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. "Last year our guests were thrilled to see these celebrated athletes in such fast-paced, action-packed competition, and we expect an even greater level of excitement this year."

Room rates start at just $223 per night, plus tax with a five-night minimum stay. An additional $30 daily resort charge includes an array of amenities, including high speed Internet/WiFi access, PlayStation 3 with unlimited movies and games, and Hawaiian cultural activities.

The Hilton HHonors Beach Volleyball Package can be booked by visiting www.hawaiianvillage.hilton.com and using rate code P9, or by calling the hotel directly at +1 808 949 4321.

The Hilton HHonors Beach Volleyball Challenge was created in 2012 as an extension of the Hilton HHonors partnership with the United States Olympic Committee, Chinese Olympic Committee and USA Volleyball. After this year's announcement of being named official hotel supplier of the Canadian Olympic Committee, Hilton HHonors is excited to add Canada as a participating country in this year's event. The top beach volleyball athletes from each of the three countries will be taking part in the competition, and the event weekend will also include a youth beach volleyball clinic with 100 children, directed by U.S. beach volleyball Olympian Kevin Wong and the Spike and Serve Volleyball coaching staff.

Since its inception, the Hilton HHonors Beach Volleyball Challenge has been held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. The event location was chosen based on Hawaii's long history of bringing volleyball to the beach, dating back to 1915, and due to the fact that one of the pioneers of beach volleyball and a former Olympian, Duke Kahanamoku, grew up where the hotel is located.
