At 18 years of age, Raiatea Mokihana Maile Helm set the Hawaiian music community on fire with her pure, clear voice and the release of her debut CD Far Away Heaven in 2002, which captured Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year and Most Promising Artist CD. She has since earned six more Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards and two GRAMMY® nominations. Also on the lineup is ukulele virtuoso Taimane Gardner, herself a rising star on the island music scene, as well as the dancers of Tihati Productions.
