Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Appoints New Food And Beverage Manager And New Executive Head Chef

GLASGOW, UK -  Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor, in the heart of the city's West End, has recently seen the arrival of Dimitrios Mikelis and Peter Wilson in two of the hotel's top food and beverage roles.

With over a decade of experience in the hospitality sector including five within a management role, Dimitrios Mikelis joins Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor as food and beverage manager.

Dimitrios has gained a strong reputation for implementing exceptional customer service standards having previously worked at Hilton Edinburgh Airport and with the Radisson SAS Hotel Group.

Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor also welcomes Peter Wilson as executive head chef. Peter will be responsible for the menus within the hotel's West End Restaurant and Bobar as well as all wedding and conferencing activity.

Peter, previously of Lochgreen House Hotel joins the hotel with extensive experience of managing large teams within busy hotel kitchen settings including the Auchrannie House Hotel and MacCallum's of Troon.

The new team has been appointed to enhance the Hilton Brand's position of excellence and strengthen the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor's reputation for first rate cuisine.

Dimitrios Mikelis said: "It's an exciting time to join the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor as we prepare for the festive season.

"I'll be working with the team here to build on the hotel's reputation for quality and service within the restaurants whilst liaising with the events team to maximise our capacity for holding a diverse set of events."
