COLUMBUS, Ohio - Hilton Columbus Downtown received three 2015 Hilton Hotels & Resorts Brand Awards, including the coveted Connie Award and honors for Leader of the Year (General Manager Christian Coffin) and Housekeeping Cleanliness. This annual recognition celebrates the outstanding accomplishments by Hilton hotels and individual team members around the world. As an award recipient, Hilton Columbus Downtown has demonstrated the highest level of quality and service throughout the brand within its division, including all of North, South and Central Americas.

The Connie Award is the pinnacle recognition of the “Best of the Brand,” which Hilton Columbus Downtown has earned for the second consecutive year. Named after the company's founder, Conrad Hilton, it is Hilton Hotels & Resorts premier and most prestigious recognition for service and quality. The Connie is awarded to the hotel with the highest overall combined ranking for service, experience, condition and cleanliness, based on guest satisfaction and quality assurance scores. The award is granted to one of 280 managed and franchised Hilton Hotels and Resorts in the Americas over 500 rooms.

This is also the third consecutive year Hilton Columbus Downtown has been recognized for the highest Housekeeping Cleanliness scores within the brand. The hotel has been recognized as the No. 1 Housekeeping operation from a guest perspective each year since opening in 2012. Metrics used to determine the winner include highest guest survey rankings for cleanliness of guest room and bath.

“We are fortunate to have a great group of very dedicated team members who have worked hard to maintain this building in the same condition as when we opened. That's no easy task, given our high occupancy levels,” said Joshua Verduga, director of front office operations, Hilton Columbus Downtown.
