SHIJIAZHUANG, China - Hilton today announced appointment of Olivia Guan as general manager of Hilton Shijiazhuang in North China. Ms. Guan will report to David Kelly, VP Operations-North China and South China, Hilton, and is responsible for all aspects pertaining to the success of the hotel, from commercial, operational and financial point of view, in line with Hilton values.

Mr. Kelly said, "Guan brings to this role more than 30 years luxury experience in hotel operations, she previously worked in Zenith International Hotel Management Company, Intercontinental Group, and Accor Group as senior management positions. About Olivia Guan
Ms. Guan joined Hilton in 2016 as General Manager of Hilton Shijiazhuang. Before this, she served as General Manager at Harbin AOLUGUYA Hotel, a Chinese forest cultural theme hotel from January in 2015 to August in 2016 and led it to the Best Urban Resorts Hotel. From 2007 to 2015, she worked as Resident Manager for Accor's Luxury Brand Hotel - Sofitel Wanda Harbin. After the opening of Sofitel, the team successfully received Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Chairman of Taiwan's People First Party Song Chuyu, and many other important guests. She also worked at Sofitel Royal Lagoon Dongguan, Sofitel Royal Lagoon Executive Resort, Harbin Wanda Holiday Inn, and other star hotels.

With almost 30 years rich experience in hotel work and management, Ms. Guan regards skillful competence, detailed guiding and innovative work ethic as the core ideology. She is results oriented, leading the team work positively and joyfully, and created one after another brilliant.

Ms. Guan was appointed National Star Rating Member of Heilongjiang Province by National Star Judging Pane in 2011, and has been involved in many evaluation works of domestic international five-star hotels. She works earnestly and responsibly, and receives favorable reputation among hotel industry.
